2023 International Day of Action 

On October 18, 2023, UC San Diego joined hundreds of educational institutions across the world in commemorating the International Center for Academic Integrity’s International Day of Action for Academic Integrity.

Our office piloted 6 tables on Library Walk, each representing 1 of the 6 fundamental values of academic integrity: honesty, fairness, respect, responsibility, trustworthiness and courage). Students who participated in activities at each table received prizes corresponding to the number of activities they completed. Students who completed two activities received a Courage magnet, while those accomplishing four activities were treated to a cookie. Students who completed all six activities had the choice between a Courage T-shirt or a Tote Bag! Our tables welcomed over 200 students,

It was a great day in celebration of academic integrity and the courage to uphold it, even when it's difficult to do so!
